Rawlings Tigers Softball

Rawlings Tigers North Jersey Softball is built for players and families who are looking for more than just another team.

Our program is focused on teaching the game the right way, developing confident athletes, and creating a training environment where players can grow, compete, and enjoy the process. We believe softball development should be intentional, age-appropriate, and built around strong fundamentals, athletic movement, softball IQ, and the daily habits that help players improve over time.

Players in our program will be challenged, coached, supported, and held to a standard. Our goal is to help each athlete become more skilled, more confident, and more prepared for the next stage of the game.

As part of the Rawlings Tigers national program, our North Jersey softball teams will provide a structured player development experience while maintaining the family-first, team-centered culture that matters at the youth level.

This program is for players who want to learn, compete, work hard, and grow in a positive softball environment.

Welcome to Rawlings Tigers North Jersey Softball.

Ages

Softball age groups are determined by a player’s age as of August 31 of the current softball season.

Players are placed into age divisions such as 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U based on that cutoff date. For example, a player who is 10 years old on August 31 would be considered a 10U player for that season.

Players may be invited to play up into an older age group based on skill level, experience, physical maturity, and roster needs. However, players may not play down into a younger age division.

Our goal is to place each athlete in the environment that best supports her development, confidence, safety, and competitive growth.

Fall Softball Program

Rawlings Tigers North Jersey Fall Softball Program is designed to give players a structured and competitive development experience during one of the most important training seasons of the year.

Fall softball is an opportunity for players to continue building their skills, gain game experience, and prepare for the next stage of their development. Our focus is on teaching the game the right way while creating an environment that challenges players without rushing the process.

Players will train, compete, and continue developing the fundamentals that matter most: throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, base running, athletic movement, softball IQ, confidence, coachability, and team habits.

The fall season allows our coaching staff to evaluate players in both training and game settings while helping each athlete grow in a more structured softball environment.

Our goal is to use the fall season to build a strong foundation, establish expectations, and help players become more prepared, more confident, and more competitive heading into the winter and spring seasons.
